the next twenty-four months..
THE POSITION
The position involves a number of responsibilities including:
Maintain firewall's and VPN's as the network administrator.
Determine, evaluate and diagnose network and application performance issues and recommend and implement solutions as the primary network administrator.
Manage backup and recovery procedures in a network administrator role. Provide Network documentation (maintain inventory of computer systems, servers, and software). Maintain server and desktop patch management and
coordinate purchase of hardware, software and supplies.
Provide technical support to end users as the sole network administrator contact.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Two+ years of small and medium business consulting experience.
Mid-level network administrator experience required.
Extensive experience with Active Directory, NT/200x, MS Exchange, and Windows based systems in small and medium businesses environment as a network administrator.
MCSE and CCNA certifications are a plus.
Extensive Network management and troubleshooting experience.
Experience installing, supporting, maintaining, monitoring, and performing diagnostics of Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and related hardware and software in a network administrator role for small and
medium businesses.
Network administrator experiences with the Cisco or SonicWall product line and a very good understanding of firewalls and Network security measures.
