THE POSITION The position requires assisting the Desk Top Loss Mitigation Management Staff in analyzing and documenting new and existing business requirements for business development efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works under general direction with application development staff and business staff on the following:
*Requirements gathering and preparation of detailed specifications for project documents.
*Perform business analysis (including workflow analysis, business information requirements and models).
*Plan, design, or modify practical manual and automated business procedures.
*Business process re-design, or re-engineering.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
College degree or equivalent certification, plus 3 years experience as a Business Analyst and/or product
owner
Ability to independently analyze and resolve problems, both internally and with clients
Painful attention to detail without over-analyzing beyond the project scope.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform under strict timelines in a fast-paced working environment.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal resources to meet timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; as well as a developed ability to communicate technical or complex ideas in a straightforward manner.
Experience utilizing various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles.
Has a working knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in carrying out tasks necessary to prepare required deliverables.
Daily usage of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio) and SnagIt/MS Paint over the last 12 months.
Experience using software issue/defect tracking tools.
Experience in data mapping and requirements documentation in use case formats preferred.
Good understanding of object-oriented methodologies and tools for design and development
